The Look
Sand Storm sits between a clean marble-effect and a bold gold-veined design. The base reads as a balanced white-and-grey, while the gold and bronze accents add real warmth and atmosphere. It is at its best as a feature surface in kitchens that lean into warm tones and natural materials.
Best for
- Statement islands and feature splashbacks: the accents shine at scale.
- Warm neutral and terracotta-toned schemes: the bronze veining echoes warm materials.
- Brushed brass and antique-bronze fittings: reinforces the gold tones.
- Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern inspired kitchens: the palette fits the brief.
Care
Sand Storm is non-porous like all Expression Quartz worktops. Day-to-day care needs nothing more than warm soapy water and a soft cloth. For stain, heat and cleaner guidance, see our full care and maintenance guide.
Frequently asked questions
What thickness is Sand Storm available in?
Standard slab thicknesses are 20 mm and 30 mm. Slab size is 3200 × 1600 mm.
Is Sand Storm heat resistant?
It handles moderate heat well, but the resin matrix can scorch or discolour under sudden extreme heat. Always use a trivet for cookware taken directly from a hob, oven or grill.
Does Sand Storm stain?
In normal use, no. The surface is non-porous, so liquids wipe straight off. For stubborn dried marks, use Bar Keeper’s Friend Power Cream as detailed in our care guide.
Can Sand Storm be used for splashbacks and islands?
Yes. Sand Storm is particularly well suited to statement islands and full-height splashbacks where the bronze and gold accents can be appreciated.
Does Sand Storm come with a warranty?
Yes. Every Expression Quartz worktop is covered by a 15-year manufacturer’s warranty. See our warranty page for full terms.
Where is Sand Storm made?
Sand Storm is produced at our Breton-equipped factory in A Coruña, Spain, with international shipping to the UK, Europe and the UAE.
