Athens is one of the most understated white quartz surfaces in our range. A soft white base carries fine, delicate grey-taupe veining that drifts gently across the slab, quiet enough to read as a near-neutral, but with just enough movement to avoid looking flat.

The Look
Athens is the white to choose when you want calm rather than drama. The veining is so fine and evenly dispersed that the surface reads as a soft, warm white from normal viewing distance, with the detail only revealing itself up close. Is Athens heat resistant?
It handles moderate heat well, but the resin matrix can scorch or discolour under sudden extreme heat. Always use a trivet for cookware taken directly from a hob, oven or grill.
Does Athens stain?
In normal use, no. The surface is non-porous, so liquids wipe straight off. For stubborn dried marks, use Bar Keeper’s Friend Power Cream as detailed in our care guide.
Can Athens be used for splashbacks and islands?
Yes. Athens is suitable for worktops, islands, breakfast bars, full-height splashbacks, upstands, vanity tops and shower surrounds.
