The Look
Glacier Forest’s patterning is unlike a typical marble-effect or concrete-effect quartz, it has its own layered, geological character. The cool palette makes it feel fresh and contemporary, but the natural feel of the patterning keeps it from looking sterile. Works particularly well in kitchens that lean into natural materials.
Best for
- Modern kitchens with natural-material accents: timber, stone and matt-finish metals all sit well alongside.
- Feature islands: the layered patterning shows best at scale.
- Cool-toned cabinetry: pale grey, sage and soft blue all complement the surface.
- Design-led, architecturally inspired interiors: the naturalistic feel reads as considered.
Care
Glacier Forest is non-porous like all Expression Quartz worktops. Day-to-day care needs nothing more than warm soapy water and a soft cloth. For stain, heat and cleaner guidance, see our full care and maintenance guide.
Frequently asked questions
What thickness is Glacier Forest available in?
Standard slab thicknesses are 20 mm and 30 mm. Slab size is 3200 × 1600 mm.
Is Glacier Forest heat resistant?
It handles moderate heat well, but the resin matrix can scorch or discolour under sudden extreme heat. Always use a trivet for cookware taken directly from a hob, oven or grill.
Does Glacier Forest stain?
In normal use, no. The surface is non-porous, so liquids wipe straight off. For stubborn dried marks, use Bar Keeper’s Friend Power Cream as detailed in our care guide.
Can Glacier Forest be used for splashbacks and islands?
Yes. Glacier Forest is suitable for worktops, islands, breakfast bars, full-height splashbacks, upstands, vanity tops and shower surrounds.
Does Glacier Forest come with a warranty?
Yes. Every Expression Quartz worktop is covered by a 15-year manufacturer’s warranty. See our warranty page for full terms.
